1, Microsoft word (ms) word
Word = is a word prossing program
Generic = for all users

Application programs= job oriented programs.
1, application – window = it contains control menu box, titile bar, menu bar, tool bar, status bar & rulers. & also it is a window of any application.
2, document – window =  it is a work area. Used for todo something to write.
3, ruler = it is used to show columns, rows & to expand left & right margins.
4, status – bar =  it is used to show where the pointer is it.
5, menu- bar =  it is used to setup of working area or customize.
6, tool – bar =  it is used to customize of working area by quickly.

1, moving the insertion points around your document.
*at the beginning  = ctrl + home
*at the end = ctrl +end
On screen back /forward = page up/page down
Creating black lines & deleted them.

Click help = write change the cases in box = click capitalize text = you have get :-
-               Vary the case of text

-               Select the text you want to format.
-               On the format menu, click font & click the font tab

Vary the case of text

-                On format menu, click change case
-                Click the capitalization option you want.

·         sentences case = is a kind of cases the first letter is begin by capital letter and the other small letters in one sentences.
·         Title case = is the first letter is begin by capital and the the other small in one word.
·         Upper case = is all  the selected paragraph capital letter .
·         Lower case = is all the selected paragraph change to small letter.
·         Toggle case = is the first letter begin by small letter and the other capital letter in one sentences.

How to adjust time and date in your computer
= right click in your time button = click adjust time/date = do it now –time, date, month, year = apply = ok
In short method
-                Click format = click change case = choose option = ok
-                Select the text = click format = click font
·               If you want to the beginner word to capital letter.
-                Click format= drop cap = - none , drooped(inside) , in margin( outside) = line to drop,distance from text = ok

·               Click format = font = doing as you want :- bold , italic, underline .

-                 Click “B” in toolbar (bold)
-                Click “I” in toolbar (italic)
-                Click  “U” in toolbar “underline”
3, fonts & font size
Font refers to the sizes & shape of character.
Size = volume
Shape = posture
Click format = click font = as you want you have get:-
-                Font  = is used to choose different kinds of languages.
-                Font style =  is used to define the shape of characters.
-                Size = is used to define the volume of characters.
-                Font color  = is used to ink the characters by as you need different color.
-                Underline style = is used to define the thickness and design of underlines .
-                Effects = to used show different designs.
·         Strikethrough = using to delete in the selected sentences or character. In middle of the text.
·         Double strikethrough = using to delete line in the selected sentences or character. In middle of the text.
·         Superscript =  is using to indicate the objects. Eg. 9th     = th = is indicates to number 9. (indicator).
·         Subscript = is using to indicate the objects. Eg, 9th  = th = is indicates to number 9. (indicator).
·         Shadow = is to customize shade to text.
·         outline = is to customize the text by shape double writing around letters.
·         Emboss = is used to stamp or decorate the character.
·         Engrave = is using to curve the character.
·         small caps = to improve the paragraph to small letter in size.
·         all caps = to improve the paragraph to capital letter in size.
·         hidden = using to out of sight(hidden).

Character spacing tab
·         To varying, condensing or raising, lower your paragraph choose character spacing.
To varying (expanded) or condensing the paragraph
·         Choose in spacing tab you have get –normal, expanded, condensing = choose in by tab number, how to expanded or condensed.
To raising or lowering the paragraph
* choose in position tab you have get :- normal, raised, lowered = choose in by tab number, how to raising or lowering the paragraph.

Text effect tab
     To set effect animation in your paragraph:-  click text effect tab = select animations = look in preview = ok 
4, setting bullet & numbering
If you want the text set bullets or numbers.
Click format = click bullet & no. = you have get bulleted, numbered, outline numbered, list style  = ok
Bulleted = is a symbol using to specify the list by bullet symbols to the paragraph. If you want click in the bullet symbols.
Numbered= using to indicate the lists by the symbol of numbers or alphabets.
Outline numbered = to using setup number or sub numbers.
List style= to set the number in the form of sorting.

If you want to customize bullet and numbering
Æ  Select bullet or numbering = click customize =  eg in bullet = click any bullets you want = click customize = in bullet character you have get – font, character, picture buttons ….
Æ  click fonts tab = choose any (fonts, font style , color, font size) in font tab = in text effect choose animations if you want.
Æ  Click in picture tab = in picture bullet window = select pictures = ok
Æ  Click character = choose any symbols by changing font = ok

·         Click in box numbering & bullets in toolbars.
5,line spacing
If you want the paragraph create line space.
Click format = click paragraph = Click in scroll of line spacing you have get :- single, double , at least…= AT tab insert number = ok
·               Do not forget the paragraph select before click.
In shortly:- in toolbar click in scroll line spacing = you have get n0s & more (1.0,1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0,more) = click more = click in scroll line spacing = ok

1, tool bar: - is tools for using customize or improve any paragraph, pictures and effects.
We have get many tool bars according with in your computer. Such for example:-  standard, formatting, autotext, control toolbox, database, drawing, email ,forms ,frames ,mail merge, outlining, pictures, reviewing, tables and borders, visual basic, web, web tools, word count, word art….. etc
Hidden or unhidden toolbar
Right click in tool bar = check or uncheck toolbars
NB= the uncheck toolbar is hidden.
The checked toolbar is present.

2,selecting a text
·               If you need select sentences, word and paragraph.
Word
Choose target in word = double click
Sentences
Choose target in sentences = press ctrl & click.
Paragraph
-                3 click in paragraph ( 3 click)
-                Click in start paragraph and select by mouth.
-                Press shift + click in paragraph.
-                First target and press shift + use arrow scaps
-                Edit click = click select all.
Select inside paragraph
Click upto you want = press shift and click.
3, setting border and setting
If you need to create border and shading in your title.
Borders
Click format = click border and shading = choose border tab = choose setting = choose style = choose color = choose width = look in preview = ok
In short method :-
Click in box in border scroll in toolbar = click as your option.
Shading
Click format = click borders and shading = click shading tab = choose fill color = choose pattern style = choose in apply to paragraph = click style scroll = click in apply to scroll = ok
NB= WHEN WE CHOOSING IN APPLY TO TAB IF WE WANT PARAGRAPH SELECT PARAGRAPH OR IF TEXT SELECT OR CHOOSE TEXT.
·               Shading is used to prominence (attractive).
Page border tab
To modify borders in pages.
Click format = click border and shading = select page border = choose setting = choose style = choose color = choose width = in apply to tab you have get :- (whole document, this section, first page only, this section –all except first page) = ok.
4, inserting a picture
·               If you need  to insert picture in your paragraph :-
-                Click insert = click picture = click clip art = click in clip art bottom organize clip = in add clips to organizer click now = click office collection in collection list = choose as you like = click in your target choose picture = right click in your picture = click copy = close the window = yes = right click in your target = click paste.
-                If you want to enlarge and resize the picture:-  Click in picture = doing by mouse arrow
-                And also you need the picture to modify with a paragraph:- Right click in picture = click format picture = click layout in format picture = choose as you like = ok.
To customize the picture
If you want to make special  to your picture.
* Right Click in picture =edit picture = and again right click in picture = edit points = draw by your mouse and you can make another picture by dragging and any different colors  = press enter

If you want order the picture with your paragraph.
*right click in picture= select order = choose (bring to front, send to back, bring forward, send forward, bring in front of text, send behind text) . the best using in this bring in to front & send behind text.

 format auto shape the pictures
if you desire to modify the picture by a color, size, layout ….
* right click in picture = click format auto shape = you have get in format auto shape window –( color &line, layout, picture, textbox, web) :-
·         Select color and line = choose in fill color you want & create transparency = in line tab choose color, dashed, weight of dashed by number.
·         Click in size tab = and select in size in size height, width & rotation
·         Click in layout = select in line with text , square, tight , behind text, in front of text (look in the picture)
·         Finally if you have finished click OK.

Modify the picture by drawing canvas tool bar
To customize the picture by drawing canvas:-
·         right click in picture = show drawing canvas = you have get symbols:-( fit, expand, scale drawing, text wrapping)
fit = in shape
expand = to enlarge
scale drawing = to modify scale
text wrap = to cover

OR…. OR…..
You have get the drawing canvas in tool bar:-
Right click in tool bar = check drawing
OR …. OR ….
Click view menu = select tool bar = check drawing

Another method to insert a picture to your paragraph

 Select target in your paragraph = find in your document picture = right click in picture = click copy = and click pasate in your target paragraph.



Inserting header and footer
If you desire your paragraph by header and footer.
Click view = click header and footer = you have get:- (insert auto text, insert page number, insert number of page, format page number, insert date, insert time, page setup, show or hide document text, close)
* click insert text = you have get – ( page, author, page #, date, confidental, page#   , date, created by, created on , file name & path, ) .  

Page = using to insert page
author, page #, date =  using to define the author or creative, date and page.
confidental, page#   , date =  to show exactly page number and date.
created by =  to telling  the created person.
Creted on = to tell when the file created.
File name = to show the file name only.
File name & path = to show file name with its contents.

1, open the table menu
2, choose insert table
3, Choose the number of columns and rows.

Click table = insert , table = in the insert table window = select table size give no. of columns and rows. by scroll or write.

-                By your mouse in the line you can resize the table.
2, insert columns to left, middle , right :-  select the column/ row = click table = insert = click (- table, column left, column right, roe above, row below, cells) .

·               If you want to the lines in one line:- select row /column = click table = click merge cells.
Split cells
·               And also you need the row/columns to split:- select row/column = click table = click split cells .

·               You need to modify the no. :- select the no. = click the box align right.

2, creating shape and changing
·               You like in your text setting drawing (3d) shapein draw toolbar shape circle and rectangle = you have get “ create your drawing here?” = draw your art = click text box in draw toolbar = expand their place = write in box = dragging the write box = delete the other box = click in draw in toolbar  = click change auto shape = choose ( -basic shape, - block arrows, - flow chart, - start and banners, - callouts).
3, text box and insert word art
·            If you want collect your text,art and shape:- click insert = click text box (click text box “in drawing here”) = you have get “create your drawing here” = write your text = click insert …  picture.. word art/click insert word art = choose style = ok =
write your text = ok


Transfer data from information one to another computer 

There are many using transferring data from one computer to anther lets to define:-

Flash
Is using to transfer data  by universal usb . the capacity of flashs are 1GB,2GB,4GB,8GB,64GB, 120GB
THE IMPORTANCE OF FLASH
 FLASH IS USED FROM ANY STORAGE DATA OR TRANSFER DATA IT IS SMALL AND BACKUP MORE INFORMATION. BUT the disadvantage of flash was carries virus.
Floppy
It is low capacity and size 1.44 mb. And it carries virus.
CD(compact disk)
Cd are using to transfer date from one to anther. There are two cd: - cd-r, cd –rw
cd-r is recordable not erased.
Cd +rw is recordable and erased.
The capacity of cd are is 700 mg
DVD(digtal video display)
There are two dvd :- dvd +r , dvd +rw
Dvd +r = is recorded only
Dvd+rw = is recorded and erased.
